1. Beyoncé's song 'Texas Hold 'Em' has reached the top spot on the country chart.

Beyoncé's latest country hit, "Texas Hold 'Em," made its debut at the top spot on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, as announced by the publication on Tuesday. This achievement has placed her in the company of Taylor Swift as the only other female solo artist to accomplish this feat without any featured artists, according to Billboard.

The song was officially released on Feb. 11, coinciding with the Super Bowl. In the span of just four days, from Feb. 11 to Feb. 15, "Texas Hold 'Em" has accumulated an impressive 19.2 million streams, received 4.8 million radio plays, and sold 39,000 units. Furthermore, it also entered the Hot 100 chart at No. 2, as reported by Billboard.

Controversy arose surrounding the song when an Oklahoma country radio station initially refused to play Beyoncé's music upon request. However, following significant backlash from fans and numerous requests, the station clarified that they were unaware of the song's release and did not have access to it at the time. Subsequently, they have since included it in their playlist.

This incident sparked discussions about the level of diversity and inclusion within the country music industry, particularly in terms of the influence of key decision-makers.

In addition to "Texas Hold 'Em," Beyoncé's other country single, "16 Carriages," also made an impact on the charts by debuting at No. 9 on the Hot Country Songs chart and No. 38 on the Hot 100 chart. The song garnered 10.3 million streams, 90,000 radio plays, and sold 14,000 units.
